This family is so great! We had a good time putting their session together and they did a beautiful job of coordinating clothing! See the previous post for the group shot with the whole family!

End of Fall Sessions

The studio has been super busy this last month with outdoor and Christmas sessions! I have been working hard to keep up in the studio but the blog has gotten a little behind!

I love this time of year when families are getting together and taking a time-out to invest some time in each other. I've had so many wonderful people come through the studio and I have truly enjoyed working with each of them. I wanted to share just a few images from the fall.

Family - The Flores

These guys were great! Consider them my poster children for a successful family portrait session! They did a great job coordinating outfits and everything came together beautifully! I can't wait to see her wall portrait in her custom Organic Bloom frame!! It's so unique and will look amazing! I'll try to make sure I post a pic of the finished product so you can see what I mean.

Family - The Grummers

The outdoor special I did a few weeks ago was a lot of fun! The families that came were great and we had a good time. The Grummers were my first session of the weekend and I truly enjoyed getting to know them better. The kiddos are awesome and we all had a good time! Now, I'm excited to get their order in and ready to pick up!  

Alaina

I had a blast with Alaina for a sweet 16 session! She is a sweet and beautiful young lady and it was a pleasure working with her.

Get Silly

These 10 girls are such a great group! You may remember the pillow fight session from last year... same girls but it's a new year! They are about to start their junior year of high school and we needed an awesome shot of them together for the football program. We decided on a silly string war and it was a blast (and much easier to clean up than feathers)!!

 

A Family Portrait

Fabulous Family!

I am in love with this family's session - the location, the sofa, the clothing, the different groupings we shot - it was all great! I know they are anxious for their order to come in, so here are a few previews to help with the wait!

Haley - Senior 2011

Haley is another fabulous senior! It was a great day to be outside shooting and we had a great time. LOVE her bright blue eyes!

Carri - senior 2011

We had such a fabulous time during Carri's session! She is a beautiful girl and wonderful model!

Pillow Fight!

Oops! We made a big mess for this session but boy was it worth it! The girls had a blast and it was actually quite funny to watch. These are the sophomore cheerleaders at Benton High School. Great group of girls that I am happy to now know.

Little Miss Ava - Outdoor Session

Miss Ava is getting so big! The last time we did an outdoor session for her, she didn't have all those beautiful curls! I am thrilled to have had the priviledge of photographing her since she was only a few weeks old and I really enjoy watching her grow and change. I'm always excited when I get the call that it's time for another session with her!

Justin - Senior 2010

Justin is getting ready for graduation this May and I'm so glad we were able to do his outdoor session over Spring Break! I had a lot of fun and I'm pretty sure he did too.

Kylie - SR 2010

Kylie scheduled an outdoor session for her senior portraits and we could not have asked for a better day to be outside! The temperature and lighting were perfect and she was wonderful to work with. I chalk this one up as a complete success!

A gift for her sweetie

A friend of mine called me recently with a great idea. Her sweetie's birthday was coming up and he has been bugging her for a portrait. Well, what better gift for the man who (I'm sure) has everything! She was nice enough to let him choose his favorite so I'm anxiously waiting to see which one he likes the best.

In the flower beds

As a few of you may know... regretfully, I rarely take a time out just to photograph fun little ordinary things. I would absolutely LOVE to do more of this but it seems like a lot of effort I guess or maybe I just don't slow down enough. Well, one day not so long ago, I had just gotten home from the studio and my husband discovered a cool caterpillar in the flower beds. It's not something we see everyday so I actually got up, grabbed the camera, and took a time out to play! I am a little proud of myself :) I wanted to share with you what I got, just for a change of pace!
