Newborn hospital shoots

The reason I have been so scarce lately is that I have started working with Bella Baby Photography doing newborn photos in the hospital. If you have delivered at St Vincent or Baptist recently, you know what I'm talking about! Bella Baby has taken hospital photos to a whole new level! It is no longer the nursery photo but a professional photographer comes to your room, does a free session in your room and shows you the edited images the same day. Easter Special is this weekend!

I have neglected the blog so much lately and it just hit me the Easter special was never announced here! It has been all over facebook and several e-mails have gone out, so if you are not on the e-mail list, sign up so you can receive early notices!

I still have a few appointments available for Saturday but let me know quickly if you need one! I'm getting lots of calls this week trying to snag the last few! The session fee is $45 and packages start at $50. We will have a bunny that the kids will love to meet!

Cutest Kids

It's about time to share the winners from the recent Cutest Kid Contest! Jonathan snagged first place and an 11x14 linen print with more than 140 votes. Marshall and Brayden both won $10 gift cards to Target for second and third place.

All of the contestants were cuties and had great sessions! Can't wait to do it again!

One great big family

This family is so great! We had a good time putting their session together and they did a beautiful job of coordinating clothing! See the previous post for the group shot with the whole family!

Sweet Baby Brynn

I'm sure everyone has noticed all the boys coming through lately, and I think it was about time I had a frilly little girl in the studio! :) It was fun getting out bows and ruffles for a little while.

Brynn is just precious and came with the most adorable clothes too! I have been photographing her big sister and brothers for a few years now and they are so excited about baby sister. She is going to be one spoiled little princess! Who would want it any other way!?

End of Fall Sessions

The studio has been super busy this last month with outdoor and Christmas sessions! I have been working hard to keep up in the studio but the blog has gotten a little behind!

I love this time of year when families are getting together and taking a time-out to invest some time in each other. I've had so many wonderful people come through the studio and I have truly enjoyed working with each of them. I wanted to share just a few images from the fall.

Charlie Gage - 7 months!

Mr. Charlie Gage is already 7 months and his session was great! He brought Mom and Dad in for a few too, which made his session even more awesome. He is a pretty happy kid and I just love his big ol' smile in the first image. The second is one of my favorites now - just love capturing those sweet moments between a mother and child!!

Family - The Flores

These guys were great! Consider them my poster children for a successful family portrait session! They did a great job coordinating outfits and everything came together beautifully! I can't wait to see her wall portrait in her custom Organic Bloom frame!! It's so unique and will look amazing! I'll try to make sure I post a pic of the finished product so you can see what I mean.

Family - The Grummers

The outdoor special I did a few weeks ago was a lot of fun! The families that came were great and we had a good time. The Grummers were my first session of the weekend and I truly enjoyed getting to know them better. The kiddos are awesome and we all had a good time! Now, I'm excited to get their order in and ready to pick up!

Capo was a fun guest at the studio. I can now say I have cat experience! HA She was very curious about everything else in the studio but we managed to get her cooperation just long enough for a few great shots.

Trey - 7 months

This handsome little man came in for one of my favorite sessions, 7 months! I had just been on a shopping spree so he got to be my lucky guinea pig :) The blue background and grey hat are new... LOVE IT!

Miss Mia

Little Miss Mia is just getting cuter and cuter! I feel like a broken record, but I really mean it when I say, I enjoy each and every one of her trips into the studio!

Drew - 1st Birthday

Drew Drew Drew... Isn't he such a beautiful little boy!? I can't believe his birthday has come and gone but that's what kids do - grow up whether we like it or not. So I guess he's turning into a big boy then... sigh.
