Kylie scheduled an outdoor session for her senior portraits and we could not have asked for a better day to be outside! The temperature and lighting were perfect and she was wonderful to work with. I chalk this one up as a complete success!

Sweet Sisters

O my goodness! These girls were so much fun and so full of energy! The tutu portraits are for a special friend... notice their pink ribbon t-shirts.

New Baby Boy - and NEW PROPS!

Ok. I mentioned back in September that I had picked up several new props that I was excited to try out. Well, here are some of them! The elf hat is so cute and fun and the wrap is just too cool!

The tool belt his mom brought so I can't take any credit for that. That was a special shot just for Dad.

I have lots of new hats and tutus for the girls so you should be seeing lots of new ideas in future posts.

Quick Pic Sessions

I wanted to remind everyone about the Quick Pic Halloween sessions on Saturday, Oct 31 from 4:30 - 8:30 pm. No appointment needed! The Quick Pic Special is $25 for a 5x7 and 8 wallets.

No previews will be shown and I will pick your child's best pose to print your package. These truly are quick pics so sessions won't last more than a few minutes.

Also, stop by and see us at Monster Madness at Mills Park on the 29th! We'll be handing out balloons and candy to the kids!

Christmas Card Designs

It hit me that I have not posted the Christmas card designs for everyone to see! So, here you go. Some can be done in several ways, which you'll notice below.

All the designs are for 5x7 cards and can be on linen or pebble stock paper (flat or folded) or photo paper. I am still in love with the linen paper and would encourage everyone to check it out in person. It's makes a beautiful card and will leave a nice impression on the recipient.

All cards come with envelopes and we have newly reduced prices on the linen and pebble cards!

Remember, you can order Christmas cards using a session from any time this year or schedule a new one.

Senior 2010

We had such a great time at Allison's senior session and she was kind enough to let me think outside the box! I just love working with teens because you have the opportunity to do something funky that is really just for them and all about them! And who wants to be like everyone else, right?

A gift for her sweetie

A friend of mine called me recently with a great idea. Her sweetie's birthday was coming up and he has been bugging her for a portrait. Well, what better gift for the man who (I'm sure) has everything! She was nice enough to let him choose his favorite so I'm anxiously waiting to see which one he likes the best.

Baby Sage

This sweet baby girl traveled all the way from Texarkana to see me and boy did we have a good time. Sage is a wonderful little model and I think she even fell asleep right on cue! She was 4 weeks old and has proven to me that this really is a wonderful age for the newborn session. She was alert just enough to get a view of those beautiful eyes but still drowsey enough we could have sleeping portraits too.

Make Way For Baby

Baby Calley is on her way! It was important to her mommy to capture her pregnancy and changing family and the result is just precious. Big brother is such a cutie and kept me on my toes during the session. He just loves his mommy and baby sister and it looks like he is going to be a good big brother!

I just had to throw in that last shot because of his expression! I'm not sure if there is any better way to explain the pout of a 2 year old!

Another Sample Sale

Watch out! I'm cleaning off the walls again and here's what I am parting with, for now :) It's so sad to me to take down the portraits that have been gracing my walls for so long but I know that it is time! What is worse though is having to toss them in the dumpster because I waited too long and they aren't wanted by anyone. SO, I'm trying to do better about refreshing the samples a little more often.
