Get Silly

These 10 girls are such a great group! You may remember the pillow fight session from last year... same girls but it's a new year! They are about to start their junior year of high school and we needed an awesome shot of them together for the football program. We decided on a silly string war and it was a blast (and much easier to clean up than feathers)!!

Jonathan's Newborn Session

I'm posting Jonathan's newborn session a little late but it's only fair to show him off. I believe he stayed awake for the whole session but he and big sister did great!
His 4 month session will be posted soon so keep an eye out to see how much he's grown already!

The verdict is in...

I, Beth Martin of Beth Martin Photography in Bryant, AR, have earned the Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation from the Professional Photographic Certification Commission!!!
The Commission currently recognizes less than 2,000 Certified Professional Photographers and only 21 in the state of Arkansas. I am so excited since this is a big achievement in this industry.

Becoming certified requires passing a rigorous written exam, submitting images and routinely showing proof of maintaining your skills. In the photography industry, it is a mark of continued excellence. For my clients, it acknowledges that I value my customers and what they expect from me. I honestly want to give you my best!

So when you see the sticker on my door and the certificate on my wall, you know what it means. You know that I have been tested and approved as a professional and you can expect the best when you come to Beth Martin Photography.

Precious Charlie

If I have talked to you lately, there has probably been a conversation about how it is "boy season"! Charlie is a sweet little boy who joined the Watch Me Grow program in June and is in good company. I just love all these boys that are coming in these days.

The first photo is one of my favorites. The blue cashmere blanket is a gift from a friend, the wood bowl belonged to Charlie's great grandmother and they are sitting on mom's flokita rug. This is the kind of thing that I melt over because of all the sentimental value and wonderful memories we were able to capture in this one photograph. I should also mention that Charlie is holding his daddy's teething ring in the last image :)

Baby Cooper

Cooper is one of my newest babies and is such a doll! He was wide eyed through the whole session but did wonderful! I'm so excited to watch him grow and change - his 4 month session is already being planned :)

6 month session - Drew

I wanted to share a quick favorite from Drew's 6 month session. He has such a great smile, you can't help but love him!!! :)

A Family Portrait

I recently had a great session with the Morshedi family! I love shooting outdoors and the weather was perfect that day! I have never shared a video on the blog before so I thought this would be a nice change of pace. Click below to view a slideshow of their session.

Happy 4th of July!

As we enjoy our family, BBQ's and fireworks today, we remember the men and women who fought for our freedoms. Beth Martin Photography would like to say a big Thank You to the families, past and present, that have sacrificed for our country. There are many families on my mind today that have sacrificed SO much, because they chose to. I'm sure all of us know of a wife that has been raising kids without a husband at home, a husband that has missed out on so much of their kids life. It's really tough on these families and I think we take them for granted too often. Please take a moment today and thank a military family for their service and sacrifice for our country.

During the month of July, I'd like to offer military families the gift of a 1/2 price session fee and 15% off your entire print order. It's a small way to say a big Thank You! Please contact the studio at 501-454-9154 for details.

Again, thank you for your service to our country and for willingly making sacrifices so that we may all have freedom!
