Upcoming Holiday Schedule

As much as I don't want to admit it, the holidays are fast approaching. So brace yourselves... it's time to schedule your Christmas portrait session!

Here are the dates you'll need to take note of for the rest of the year.

Christmas Quick Pics are November 19-20. Schedule NOW for the best appointment. After school and Saturday morning sessions book first.

It takes about 3 weeks to receive your order. With this in mind, please note that orders need to be placed by December 3 to guarantee Christmas delivery. Custom frame orders need to be in by the end of November. (I'm talking to my supplier and will repost if this changes)

Orders placed December 7-10 will have a $35 rush charge to ensure Christmas delivery. All orders placed after December 10 will be ready when we reopen in January.

The studio will be closed December 21 - January 7. We will reopen January 11.


Remember that you can order Christmas cards using any session completed in 2010! These do have the same production time of 3 weeks so call soon for an appointment to choose your pose and favorite card design.

Studio hours are Tuesday - Friday with appointments available from 10 - 4:30.

Halloween Quick Pics

The 2010 limited edition Halloween sessions were so much fun! This years set was great (in my opinion) and everyone looked so good in their fall clothes or costume. Print orders won't be ready until next week so here is a preview to get you excited!

Fabulous Family!

I am in love with this family's session - the location, the sofa, the clothing, the different groupings we shot - it was all great! I know they are anxious for their order to come in, so here are a few previews to help with the wait!

These girls brought the party when they arrived at the studio! Big sister was such a character and couldn't get enough time in the spotlight. She was sweet enough to finally let baby sister have her turn :)

We are family!

I recently had the priviledge of meeting this wonderful family. It was a certain someone's birthday and she needed a large portrait to hang in her home of the people she loves the most  :) I just love the connection you can see in their family and hope this portrait brings her lots of joy over the years.

What to do on a Wednesday...

Last Wednesday, I had the opportunity to visit the Almatis plant in Bauxite and help them with photos for the company's 100 year celebration. This is certainly not something I get to do every day!

First, I was loosly fitted with a fall harness (they apparently aren't made for people of my size) so I could climb into this lift. I wish I had a photo of me in the gear but that would require having someone else to push the button... :( 

We were lifted almost 23 feet above the ground so I could take this photo

 Each Almatis plant made a letter that all together spelled the company name. This plant made an A and S.

I really enjoyed this assignment! It's not often at all an opportunity like this comes along (for portrait photographers anyways)!

Miss Ava Faye - 4 months

This Little Miss is getting close to coming back for her 7 month session! Sorry I am just getting a 4 month photo posted!

Pricing Menu Change

After 5+ years in business, we have to make a change in session and print prices. This is a necessary increase that has only happened once before in the history of this business. It will take effect on Wednesday, September 1. Any sessions booked before this time will receive the current (2009-10) prices!

You should know this change is only because you deserve the best quality and the best service, and honestly...we want to keep giving you more of it!

Thank you for helping Beth Martin Photography grow so much over the past few years and thanks again for your understanding on this price increase.

Baby Cash

Cash is such a precious baby boy and I fell in love with him pretty much immediately! His mom was so generous to loan him to me for this session! I have several new baby props that were begging to be tried out so he was my guinea pig :) Here are a few favorites (only one shows a new prop though)!

It seems like baby Calley is growing up faster than she should! It's hard to believe we have already done her 7 month session. She is such a precious little girl!
